01About these terms

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) apply whenever you use the Imperial Networks website (imperialfivem.com), our Discord server, our FiveM roleplay server (play.imperialfivem.com), and the bot and tools that run them — together, the “Services”. “We”, “us” and “Imperial” mean the Imperial Networks team.

By using any part of the Services you agree to these Terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use them. You should also read our Privacy Policy and Refund Policy, which are part of how the Services work.

02Who can use Imperial

• You must be at least 13 years old, or the minimum age Discord sets where you live if that is higher.
• You need a working Discord account and must follow Discord’s Terms of Service and Community Guidelines.
• You must follow the terms and policies of FiveM (Cfx.re) and the owners of Grand Theft Auto V while using the server.
• If you have been banned, you may not come back using another account or identity (“ban evasion”).

03Your account and signing in

You can sign in to the website with Discord. We only ask Discord for your basic profile (your ID, username and profile picture) — the Privacy Policy explains exactly what that means.

• You are responsible for everything done through your account, so keep it secure and don’t share it.
• Tell us straight away if you think your account has been taken over.
• Don’t sell, trade or hand over your account, characters or roles to anyone else.
• We may suspend or limit an account while we look into a problem.

04Community rules and conduct

Imperial is a place to have fun and tell good stories. To keep it that way:

• Be respectful. No harassment, hate speech, threats, discrimination or targeting people for who they are.
• Keep people’s private information private. No doxxing, leaking messages or sharing personal details.
• No cheating. No hacks, mod menus, exploits, duplication glitches or abusing bugs. If you find a bug, report it to staff.
• Play fair roleplay. Follow the roleplay rules in our Discord, such as no random death-matching, no metagaming and no powergaming.
• Don’t impersonate staff or pretend to speak for Imperial.
• No real-world trading of in-game money, items, vehicles, properties or characters.
• No advertising other servers or communities without permission.
• Listen to staff. If a staff member gives you an instruction in the city or in Discord, follow it first and discuss it afterwards.

The full, up-to-date rules are posted in our Discord and form part of these Terms. If the Discord rules and this page ever disagree, the stricter rule applies.

05Applications

You can apply for roles such as staff, Gang Staff, Beta Tester, Business, Gang and PD through our website.

• Answer honestly, in your own words. Submitting false or copied answers can get your application rejected and may lead to action against your account.
• Submitting an application does not guarantee acceptance. Staff decide, and our decisions are final unless we tell you otherwise. We may ask follow-up questions or decline for any reason, including fit and capacity.
• We send the result by direct message from imperialbot on Discord, so please keep your DMs open. We may also give you a role automatically in a Discord server when your application is submitted or accepted.
• Don’t spam applications. The forms have a short cool-down, and abusing them may lead to a restriction.
• Staff positions, gangs, businesses and department roles are privileges, not rights. They can be changed or removed if you break the rules, become inactive, or the team decides it is necessary.

06Moderation and appeals

To protect the community, staff may warn, mute, kick or ban you (temporarily or permanently), remove roles, restrict or wipe characters, disband gangs or close businesses. We look at the context and use our judgement, and our decisions are final unless an appeal succeeds.

If you think we got it wrong, open a ticket in our Discord (discord.gg/imperialau). Be honest and respectful — appeals are not guaranteed to succeed, and harassing staff will not help.

07Virtual items, characters and progress

In-game money, items, vehicles, properties, jobs, businesses, characters and any other progress are virtual. They exist only on our server, have no real-world value, are not your property, and can’t be exchanged for cash.

We may adjust, rebalance, reset, wipe or remove any of it at any time — for example to fix bugs, balance the economy, enforce the rules or ship major updates. We don’t owe compensation for virtual items.

08Supporter perks and purchases

Supporter perks are optional ways to help fund the community. They are digital, don’t give you ownership of anything, and never excuse you from the rules.

• Perks may change as the server evolves. We’ll try to give notice of big changes.
• Payments are handled by a third-party payment provider. We never see or store your full card details.
• You must be old enough to make purchases where you live, or have permission from a parent or guardian.
• Our Refund Policy explains when refunds are available.

09Your content

You keep ownership of what you create — application answers, messages, clips and screenshots. By posting or submitting it to Imperial you give us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use, store, display and share it as needed to run the community. For example, to review your application, moderate the server, or show a clip in our Discord.

Only share things you have the right to share, and nothing that breaks the law or these Terms.

10Our content and third-party property

The website, scripts, tools, designs, logo and branding made by or for Imperial belong to us or our licensors. Don’t copy, leak, resell or redistribute our scripts, assets or private staff material without written permission.

Grand Theft Auto, FiveM and related names belong to their respective owners. Imperial Networks is not affiliated with or endorsed by Rockstar Games, Take-Two Interactive or Cfx.re.

11Third-party services

The Services depend on others, including Discord, FiveM (Cfx.re), Cloudflare, hosting providers and payment providers. Their own terms and policies apply when you use them, and we aren’t responsible for how they operate.

12Availability and changes

We provide the Services “as is” and “as available”. Expect restarts, updates, maintenance and the occasional bug. We may change, pause or stop any part of the Services at any time, and we don’t promise any particular uptime.

13Disclaimers and limits on liability

To the fullest extent the law allows:

• We give no warranties that the Services will be uninterrupted, error-free or suit your purposes.
• We are not liable for loss of virtual items, progress, data or access, or for indirect or consequential loss.
• Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the issue arose — or nothing if you haven’t paid us anything.

Nothing in these Terms removes or limits any right or liability that can’t legally be removed or limited, including your rights under applicable consumer law.

14Ending access

You can stop using the Services at any time by leaving our Discord and signing out of the website. We may suspend or end your access for breaking the rules, abuse, security reasons, or if we shut a service down. Anything that is meant to continue after that — such as the rules about virtual items, your content licence and the disclaimers — does.

15Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we’ll change the “Last updated” date at the top and, for big changes, announce it in our Discord. If you keep using the Services after a change, you accept the updated Terms.

If any part of these Terms can’t be enforced, the rest still applies. If we don’t enforce something straight away, that doesn’t mean we’ve given up the right to later.
